Vaucluse Upper House
Project Overview
This stunning custom-built, three-level residence in Vaucluse, Sydney, is part of an ambitious project featuring two new homes on a prominent corner block.
Infused with a contemporary Santorini flair, the exterior is finished in a textured bagged render, painted a crisp white. The eaves are elegantly clad in blackbutt timber, while an expansive pergola at the rear, crafted from large aged-timber beams, is designed to weather over time, adding a natural, earthy charm.
The outdoor spaces evoke a European holiday retreat, complete with a new pool and cabana, cobblestone pathways, and archways. An impressive alfresco area featuring restored old shutters enhances this Mediterranean ambiance.
The bespoke kitchen is a centrepiece, with a striking Toledo marble island bench complemented by an aged brass benchtop and splashback. Custom joinery and brass fixtures are seamlessly integrated throughout, paired with stunning oak herringbone floors, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.

Vaucluse Client Testimonial
Brad and the team at BIC Constructions were true professionals and great to work with. They were happy to work with us through design changes and new ideas as the project progressed and took a real can do approach to any problem solving. We finished on time and were delighted with the finished product – our home for hopefully the next 10 years. Thanks guys, job well done
